Dear members and colleagues,
Cleft lip and/or cleft palate is the most common congenital anomaly of the facial region. It does not cause only the disfiguration of face, but it also affects the feeding, hearing, speech, oral hygiene, dentition and psychosocial problems of each patients. In syndromic cleft, there are much more problems for their patients and phycians to deal with. The corrrection of cleft lip and cleft palate needs comprehensive care due to their problems and the treatment during their growth development until an adulthood. On behalf of The Thai Cleft Lip Palate and Craniofacial Association (TCCA), I would like to invite you to attend the 8th annual meeting of TCCA on November 18th - 20th 2015, Khon Kaen, Thailand.

Greetings from Khon Kaen, Thailand
It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 8th Annual Meeting of the Thai Cleft Lip-Palate and Craniofacial Association: International Conference being held in Khon Kaen, Thailand on 18-20th November, 2015. Located in the heart of northeast region of Thailand (Isaan), Khon Kaen is the commerce and political center of Northeastern Thailand and is well known for the silk that is manufactured in the area. Furthermore, the government has endorsed Khon Kaen as the export center for trade into the Indo-China Region. The conference will focus on Comprehensive Cleft Care in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) for Better Quality of Life. As comprehensive care requires joint GMS effort, the conference aims to serve as an international forum for interdisciplinary co-operation among specialists including craniofacial surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, pediatricians, speech-language pathologists, otolaryngologists, audiologists, geneticists, orthodontists, pedodontists, dentists, psychologists, as well as social workers who are involved in the treatment of patients with cleft lip and palate and related craniofacial anomalies. With this in mind, we would like to encourage colleagues from all countries to take an active part in the conference, communicating their experience through oral and poster-presentations. Khon Kaen city is strategic location for the centre of GMS. Let us all unite in collaboration within the GMS to make the 8th Annual Meeting of the Thai Cleft Lip-Palate and Craniofacial Association: International Conference a memorable experience for all!
